ABOUT THE CUISINE OF THE SUN CULINARY FEST

The Villa Group has decided to add an exciting Los Cabos second edition to the Cuisine of the Sun Festival, so that more of The Villa Group family, including resort guests and other important individuals, can enjoy the magic of the culinary festival. Set to take place from the 23th to the 26th of April, 2019, the Cuisine of the Sun Food and Wine Festival will feature the talents of internationally acclaimed chefs and will include cooking classes, elegant dinners, and chef interviews at Villa del Palmar, Villa del Arco, and Villa La Estancia Los Cabos.

Tregaye Fraser

After studying at Le Cordon Bleu, Fraser has gone on to win the hearts of foodies with her revamped old-fashioned platters and her fusion cuisine. Her unique style and passion for creating non traditional dishes has made her a complete kitchen sensation. She holds the title of Food Network Star, taking home the top spot on the 12th season of the Food Network’s hit show, and now has gone on to co-host Kitchen Sink, where her vibrant personality and entertaining techniques show viewers how to have fun while cooking.

Rahm Fama

Well known in the foodie industry as the meat-loving host of the Food Network’s show Meat and Potatoes, Fama is a master in the kitchen. His passion for cooking and culinary curiosity has led him to prestigious positions at various kitchens around the United States, including as executive chef of La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, where he turned the Fuego restaurant into an international sensation and at the Lodge at Vail in Colorado, where he oversaw the operations of both the Wildflower and Cucina Rustica, two world-renowned restaurants. Although still relatively young for such a long list of accomplishments, Rahm Fama is a well-respected chef who continues to impress foodies with his creative dishes and culinary expertise.

Benjamin Udave

A self-proclaimed apprentice of the culinary world, Chef Udave has been part of a great variety of events and festivals around the globe, where he has shared his knowledge and cooking skills with enthusiastic foodies and other talented chefs. With a love for cooking that began at a young age in his family’s Southern California home, Udave has spread his wings throughout the culinary world, graduating with honors from Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena and working as Sous Chef and Executive Chef for various restaurants in California. Most recently, Chef Udave has loaned his expertise as Executive Chef at Perch in Los Angeles and as Executive Chef for the Sysco Corporation.
